Gaming & Your Mental Health
The Wall Street Journal's article "When Gaming Is Good For You" reported that university research is proving the fact more and more that there are a vast number of benefits from playing games. They state that the benefits cover a wide range from increased perception and speed to decision making. Research has shown that playing can improve many day to day activities as given in their example of improved ability while driving at night. With all these benefits coming from an activity that so many people enjoy during their spare time, why not play games? Just as many people enjoy aerobic workouts that consist of dancing to their favorite music, shouldn't our mental workouts be just as enjoyable? Just a thought to ponder upon. Read more here...
