Casual games include puzzle trivia games, puzzle games, and more. The games are played in a tournament format that allows you to play whenever you want with no waiting on an opponent to join the game.  The scoring is all based-on speed and skill and each player in a tournament plays the same exact game level with the same features.  This ensures that each competition winner is decided based only on their skill during the game with no aspect of chance or luck involved.

There are four casual games with multiple tournaments you can enjoy.  Two are trivia game based, Triviaville, which is similar to Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader, and Trivia Shootout, a Wild West themed trivia challenge.  There is Jewel Birds where you can race to save the birds by matching the jewels of like color before they reach the top.  Honey Maker, a puzzle type game, offers an almost Tetris- like gaming experience.  Remove the honeycomb from the game board by placing the honeycomb pieces together to form solid lines to try to attain the highest score.

Arcade games are games based on classic games that most people already know. At playtournamentgames.com, these classic games have been given new life in versions of the games that are specifically made for their online game tournaments. Just like the Casual Games, the Arcade Games are also scored based upon a player’s skill and speed while playing the game.
The Arcade Games selection currently offers tournaments in six different games.  Solitaire Showdown is a game based on Klondike Solitaire.  Trick Bowling which is a unique bowling type game where the highest score never stops at 300 points.  Make 13 is based on the classic Pyramid Solitaire game.  Fast Match is a fast-paced Mahjong game with a twist.  A unique version of Tri-Tower Solitaire is Mega Stars.  Lastly, there is a 3D Pool game called Challenge Pool which is a uniquely realistic version of the classic pool hall favorite.

So if you find yourself sitting around with spare time, what are you waiting for………………

Test Your Matching Speed - Play Fast Match

Fast Match is a predominately skill based game that tests your matching speed.  You start with 52 to 80 tiles. You remove matching tiles from the playing field by clicking on a tile and then clicking on a matching tile. Race against the timer to find all the matching tiles and clear the playing field to gain the highest score.

Each of the Fast Match tile patterns contains four of each tile. The difficulty levels range from easy to expert depending on tile count and pattern. With the range of tile patterns, backgrounds, and tile designs, each round of the game is a truly unique and engaging experience.

The game score is calculated based upon how quickly a player selects and removes the matching tiles from the playing field. The timer (on the right of the game screen) counts down, and the faster a match is made the higher the amount of points added to the player's overall game score.

Each tile formation, or layout, requires a slightly different approach, however in general it is always a good tactic to remove tiles that will reveal, or open up, other tiles when possible.

In certain situations, reshuffling the tiles can lead to more harm than good. Choosing to reshuffle the tiles should be a strategic choice where the possibility of locking in needed tiles is not likely with how the tiles are arranged on the playing field.

Balance strategy and speed and keep in mind a strategic approach is required to clear the board, however scoring is based on how fast the tile matches are removed.

Always strive to visualize a few steps ahead while playing to avoid locking in tiles and preventing the ability to clear the entire playing field. Always try to envision the possible moves available could result from each removed pair of tiles.
